How to perceive reality?

“There is no matter as such, all matter originates and exists only by virtue of a force which brings the particle of an atom to vibration and holds this most minute solar system of the atom together. We must assume behind this force the existent of a conscious and intelligent mind. This mind is the matrix of all matter.” – Max Planck

The only reality we know is the one our mind projects, and our mind displays for us a vision of what is around us. It receives millions of signals every minute and those are organized into holograms that therefore are projected outside ourselves.

The way we see our material reality is based on:

1- Light clusters or photons travel from the scene to the eye.

2-Then the photons travel to the eye lens.

3-After, they are refracted and focus on the retina of the back of the eye.

4- The rays of this light turn into electrical signals.

5-These electrical signals are transmitted by neurons to the center of vision which is at the back of the brain.

6-  Finally, the scene that we perceive and the surrounding that we visualize makes part of an electric signal that goes along in the back of our brain.

Everything we see and observe takes place in a space of a few cubic centimeters. So it is possible to say that everything “in reality” is possible.

the eye back to the visual cortex, in the occipital lobe, in the back ...

Now, how can we really define what is real when everything we see is but a reflection of light that is transformed into a mere string and converted into our entire reality?

Further analyzing into our absoluteness, reality is only real because we make it real as we observe it. The Measurement Problem is a question that has agitated Quantum Physicists as it reveals that: An atom only appears in a particular place if it is measured, this means that an atom is spread all over the place until a conscious observer decides to look at it. So, the act of measurement or observation creates the entire Universe.

*The question of- Does an ongoing radio in the middle of the forest, sound even if no conscious observer is there?

We can think, well it wouldn’t sound to anyone if no-one is actually there because the radiowaves wouldn’t travel to the person far away but in this case it does not apply because what is being said does not involve the fact of someone hearing it, it involves the fact of: is it really playing music if no-one is to witness.

April ~ National Poetry Month

Everyone has their own way of being, which at the most could be classified into a group of “average” and at the least, it wouldn’t make technical sense. Be yourself in everything you do. Everything and everyone is a mirror of you, and as you look at others you reflect upon them. Transmit the best energies from within’.

The inspiration of an era.

Sometimes it might seem that Science has nothing to do with Art, when in fact they both mix up to this infinitesimal creation of objectivity and subjectivity with a sense of subtleness.

The fashion world may seem like a cruel place to be in or live in when it’s seen from outsiders (like me) but considering the artistic beauty that it carries, makes one inevitably intrigued of what a life of fashion between such artists, writers, musicians and inspiring people can be like.

Of course, there are different groups and cliques that mesh, and the art that lies within those walls of freedom unites with a different world. One that resides within each person, to live and dream of. To exist, and persist on. And to inspire, and act upon. The dreams of an age.

Sometimes it can be difficult to think about how 2 things that you love can clash and be the complete opposite of the other… (well, at least seem like the complete opposite) or well, not because in reality, as mentiones beforehand, Science and Art are alike, therefore two other “seemingly unrelated” aspects can actually be part of a unity.

Some other times, you might just be in search of creativity and wonder after having watched such amazing series “The Carrie Diaries” that you just want to start blasting your creativity into an art collection of a sort, or cutting out figures from a magazine.

It’s necessary to believe in ourselves and everything we do at every single point in time. Sometimes it might seem like there are so many things going on that you just want to go to sleep listening to Turkish pop music while daydreaming about learning about the phases of the moon and just forgetting about overwhelming situations, but it’s You. And you know that everything is extremely important so that it’s essential that you stand up and go about those things that are so important and that you love.

Fashion is undoubtedly a part of our daily lives, and whether we pay attention to it or not, it jeopardizes our outward style and looking idols that many might admire and adore as for themselves.

To conclude, will be leaving you with this poem by Madeline Dobbs from Rookie Magazine.

Voids

We suppose that
navigating our empty spaces
has to involve labels.
That the journey of finding out
exactly who we are is accomplished
when we can describe ourselves in three words
with absolute certainty.
And we marvel at the beauty of
the unknown in the world,
yet deny that such a thing
could apply to the human soul.
We question ourselves and stress
over who we are,
and still, we deny the idea
of ourselves just being.
Is self actualization essential?
Why must we fill in the blank?
What is the meaning
behind the unspoken satisfaction
of having a definition?
You and I are wonderful
as we are.
We are universes all in our own,
with voids that are a part of us;
nothing more, nothing less.

TRAPPIST 1

Trappist-1 has been discovered!

Trappist-1 is a dwarf star system that possesses 7 Earth sized planets, in which 3 of them are in the Habitable zone due to their approximately same distance temperatures of the sun. The other 4 planets are too hot or too cold to even hospice or harbor life as we know it…

This is an astounding discovery as each day we improve upon technology in searching for Earth-like planets such as these. Now, the scientists, engineers and every single person that engages in the exploration, expansion of these discoveries, makes part of the pioneers  that took upon this travel, furthering our knowledge.
